![]() ![]() Building on this debate, this chapter argues that a comprehensive framework exists under international law, both treaty and customary, regulating the protection of cultural property. ![]() ![]() With tangible cultural property becoming a deliberate target subject to collateral damage in recent armed conflicts, academic scrutiny of rules of international humanitarian law governing its protection has increased.
